Voicemail Recording with a Unique Twist
We are often asked to supply background music to a recorded message. That is no problem to arrange for you at all, and often it lift the message to make it more entertaining for a caller. On Hold messages work better with a background music track although they can also work with a shorter call greeting message. That said, you must remember that the caller is wanting to hear information when they call you (that is why they called) they do not necessarily want to listen to music, that was not the reason they called your business.
So, it is important to strike the right balance. We can discuss this in more detail if music is needed in your recording.
Voicemail Recording with a Unique Twist
Recently we were asked to make a standard voicemail recording for our client – nothing out of the ordinary, just a simple ‘we are closed’ message for their callers. But I got to thinking, this client is in the aviation business and their callers will be familiar with the sound of aircraft, helicopters or jet engines. I struck upon the idea to add an effect to the recording to help identify the company with the caller. This was provided as a free add on message to their original order. I think it works quite nicely.
