Voicemail Recording – Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 17/09/2026
These terms apply when you purchase a professional voicemail or IVR recording from Spencer Cork.
I have kept these terms straightforward because ordering a voicemail recording should be straightforward too.
1. Your order
When you place an order, you are purchasing a professionally recorded voicemail or IVR message using the voice and recording options you selected during the ordering process.
Before completing payment, you will have the opportunity to check your selected voice, recording requirements, message text and price.
Once payment has been successfully received, your order will be processed for recording.
2. Your message
You are responsible for ensuring that the message you provide is accurate and suitable for recording.
If there is an obvious issue with your script or recording instructions, I will contact you where reasonably possible rather than simply proceeding with something that appears incorrect.
Where your order contains multiple recordings, each recording will be produced according to the information supplied with your order.
3. Professional recording quality
Every recording is produced professionally using a broadcast-quality recording studio and professional recording equipment.
Your finished recording will be checked before delivery to ensure that it has been recorded and produced to a professional standard.
Your confidence in the finished recording matters to me. If there is a genuine recording or production problem with your order, please contact me and I will investigate it promptly and, where appropriate, put the problem right at no additional recording charge.
4. Delivery
Your finished recording will normally be supplied electronically to the email address provided with your order.
Where the selected service includes same-day recording, every reasonable effort will be made to complete the recording within the stated timeframe.
Occasionally, circumstances outside my reasonable control may cause a delay. If this happens, I will keep you informed and work to complete your order as quickly as possible.
5. Amendments and corrections
If I have made an error in recording your supplied script, or the delivered file has a genuine technical or production problem, please contact me as soon as possible.
I will review the issue and, where the problem is my responsibility, arrange a corrected recording promptly and professionally.
If you have subsequently changed the wording of your message, selected a different voice, or requested a change that was not part of the original order, this may be treated as a new recording request.
6. Digital recordings
Your finished recording is a digital product supplied electronically rather than a physical product.
Once the recording has been produced specifically for you, it cannot be physically returned in the same way as a conventional product.
This is why I encourage you to check your voice selection, message and recording requirements carefully before completing your order.
Nothing in these terms affects any statutory rights you may have under UK consumer law.
7. Your responsibility for the content
You confirm that you have the right to provide the words, names, business information and other material contained in your script for recording.
You are responsible for ensuring that your message does not infringe another person’s copyright, trademark or other rights, and does not contain unlawful or defamatory material.
8. Use of your recording
Your recording is supplied for the purpose stated or reasonably understood when you place your order.
You are responsible for ensuring that the recording is suitable for the telephone system, voicemail platform or other service on which you intend to use it.
If you are unsure about a technical requirement, please contact me before ordering and I will do my best to help.
9. Payment
The price displayed at the time you place your order is the price you will pay for that order, unless an applicable tax or other charge is clearly stated before payment.
Voicemail recordings are normally purchased as a one-off payment. There is no annual or monthly subscription unless specifically stated otherwise.
10. If something goes wrong
If you have a problem with your order, please contact me directly rather than worrying about what to do next.
I will review the issue, explain what has happened and work with you to resolve it as quickly and professionally as reasonably possible.
My aim is simple: you should receive a professional recording that you can confidently use for your business.
